Vera stands at about 5'6" and weighs around 120lbs. She has a very mature build, sporting an hourglass shaped figure. Her skin is oddly cold to the touch, having a very porcelain white appearance to it. The lack of any kind of blemish on her skin makes her appear almost too perfect. Her eyes are different colours; with one being brown, the other pink. Her long, wavy hair follows this same colour scheme. Half is brown, the other half is pink. She twists these different colours together into an appealing pony tail that she usually lets sit in front of her. She wears a long sleeved, lightly pink hued blouse with a simple pair of black trousers and a set of black shoes.

Vera is a rather upbeat and happy person. Or at least she tries to be. Being a Homunculus, her soul naturally yearns for the peaceful rest that was taken from her. She does her best to keep these feelings of dread and despair under wraps, focusing on the second chance she's been given in life. She's adopted Axis' playfulness but is also quite serious when work needs to be done. She'd fly to the moon and back for Axis, who she considers to be like an older brother. Needless to say she has a hard time maintaining that image when he constantly flirts with her, making her incredibly uncomfortable. She's very outspoken and has been known to stand up for Axis when people doubt him. She doesn't really like the outside much; preferring to remain inside with some paper work or a good book.
In battle, Vera brings her happy playfulness as a means to demean the enemy. She is known as "The Untouchable", taunting enemies to try and land hits on her and relishing in their frustration as they fall for her mind games over and over.

Illusion Magic and Barrier Magic:
Description Vera is a skilled user of Illusion Magic, but she's also a very smart mage when it comes to her Illusions. So much so that no one besides Axis even knows she uses illusions. Her Illusion Magic can be used to afflict a wide area around her, but it is strongest when focused on less targets. Unfortunately, the weakness to this magic is awareness. Anyone who fights her and figures out her tricks is usually never prone to fall for them again. So far she has done a good job of keeping her magic a secret, able to manipulate the minds of others through clever trickery and deception.
Vera is also the wielder of the Anti-Magic weapon "Messiah", a magical parasol that is capable of projecting barriers for many defensive and supplementary uses. Her barriers are clear at first, but the more attacks they take the deeper hue of red they become. Eventually, they become entirely red and shatter. She acts as though her barrier magic is her only tool in her arsenal, deceiving others so that they don't notice her illusions.

Untouchable The limits of Vera's illusions are based on her imagination and magic power; so there really aren't any set spells that she uses. However, one thing Vera is infamous for is her strange and dread inducing ability to dodge every attack that comes her way effortlessly. Many wizards have been bested by growing too tired to fight whilst Vera stands before them without a scratch. This is often credited to Vera's physical prowess, having trained with the famed wizard Axis Jubilee. However, this is not the case. The Vera that is able to dodge every attack isn't the real Vera; but rather an illusion of herself cast into the minds of her victims. With this illusion, her opponents feel as though they are fighting the real Vera when in actuality, it's nothing but a copy. This is the secret behind Vera's status as "The Untouchable".
Mystical Barrier A simple yet powerful spell that allows Vera to create a magical shield using Messiah. The Shield always moves where Messiah is, and can be shrunk or expanded by expending more of Vera's power. The barrier is capable of withstanding a moderate amount of attacks before shattering. Messiah works on a charge system, and is able to store three barriers. It takes about an hour to recharge a barrier. While the barrier won't hold against incredibly powerful attacks normally, it can be reinforced with all three charges to create a rather intimidating defense.
Mystical Baton Vera is able to expend one of Messiah's charges to coat her Parasol in a thick layer of magic. This adds to the power of the weapon, with each attack relinquishing a small amount of the magic to reinforce each strike with additional force. Vera can make about 10 attacks per charge with Mystical Baton. Charges recover at the same speed as her Barrier Charges and are shared between them.
History:
Vera Arc was the only daughter of Relius Arc; the mad scientist who met his end mysteriously to one of his experiments. Not having heard from the man, the Magic Council sent the Rune Knights to investigate his whereabouts by inspecting his house. What they found was a shocking display of torture and inhumane experiments. His wife, Clara Arc, lay dead on her bed with an assortment of flowers surrounding her corpse. His two children, Vera and Nico were nowhere to be found. Yet, in Vera's room, there was the corpse of a horrible monstrosity. It was believed at first, that this thing killed Vera Arc and her brother. But if that were the case, where were their bodies?
Time passed, the creature sent to one of the council's most trusted wizards to investigate it. The creature was so fascinating, that the man devoted every waking moment of his days to unlocking its secrets. It was clear that Relius Arc was on the brink of a new discovery in magical evolution; and he wanted to finish his research and claim the glory. Through his power, this man unintentionally made the ultimate sacrifice. Using the darkest of magics, the man accidentally sold his soul to create a Homunculus. An artificial body with the soul of a deceased human inhabiting it. It functioned just as a real body, and he effectively brought Vera Arc back from the dead at the cost of his own body and soul.
Confused and scared, not knowing where she'd been or how she'd gotten here, Vera was naked and alone. She ran away, crying and yelling for someone to help her. No one did. In their eyes, they only saw her as a monster. They could feel the dark magic within her that had brought her back, and no one was willing to be involved with her. One day, while she was living in an old barn, a man came to end her life. Vera welcomed death, her soul craving it's cold embrace. But it never came.
The man, Axis Jubilee, could not bring himself to end her life. Even when she begged, he refused. Something sparked within her at that moment, when he held out his hand to her. A warm, kind feeling that she hadn't felt since she was a child. Taking his hand, he went with him. The two trained together. Vera became a skilled mage and a proud member of the Magic Management Council. She works beside Axis everyday and entrusts her life to him.
