The sword Siegurd wields is his magic. The blade is capable of transforming into a number of weapons with few limitations, allowing Siegurd to use a weapon to better suite his situation. The main restriction on this blade is that he cannot make ranged weapons or a shield. However, Siegurd makes this magic work through his proficiency with many weapons that he uses and his immense strength and durability to get through a fight against mages with more versatile and longer ranged magics.

History:
An old friend of Fraquar's, Siegurd was raised by a family with a history of serving the military in various forms, from black ops groups, to guards for the magic council, to the Rune Knight themselves. Siegurd himself aimed to be a Rune Knight like his grandfather before him and trained diligently every day alongside his friend, who also aimed to be a Rune Knight
When Siegurd was twenty years old, he passed the exams and became a full fledged Rune Knight, using his grandfather's old weapon, Elfiem, when carrying out missions or training. Siegurd had a very illustrious career as a Rune Knight, completing several missions of importance alongside Fraquar and quickly rising through the rank. Within five years, he was the commander of his own squadron and leading missions across the continent.
When word reached him that Fraquars squad had been wiped out on a mission, Siegurd was completely shocked. That squad was one of the best and had to have been ambushed by a rather strong force for that to happen. Leading his own squad on a rescue mission, Siegurd managed to find his friend before he could die of his wounds and managed to extract the story from Fraquar about what had happened. Disgusted, Siegurd left the Rune Knight and has been working for a mercenary guild before receiving an invitation to join his old friend's new guild, an invitation he happily and readily accepted.
Personality:
A rather normal man, Siegurd is calm and easy to approach. He is kind to those under him and respectful to his equals and higher ups. When he trains he is serious and can be a bit of a drill sergeant when training other or training with them. Despite this, he knows when to stop and will push his trainees to their limits and only beyond if they wish to do so, unless he sees a need to push them harder.
In battle, Siegurd can be a bit of a berserker and more then a little brutal. He will not kill an opponent in a friendly challenge, but he will seriously injure them if they are not careful.
